Karp provides home healthcare services specializing in helping individuals improve their quality of life and to live comfortably in their homes.  Their caregivers provide individualized care and companionship to the elderly, ill, injured, disabled or recovering from surgery.

Services include:

• Professional Nursing: RN's, LPN's, Would Care, Palliative Care, Respite Care
• Home Support & Personal Care:  General hygiene (oral care, grooming, dressing), Bathing and Toileting assistance, Ambulation, Turning/Repositioning, Provide Safety and Security, Companionship/Emotional Support, Play Games (cards, board games, reading)
• Houskeeping:  Laundry, Ironing, Mending, Making bed, Vacuuming, Clean floors, Dusting & Cleaning
• Physical Rehabilitation:  Kinesiologist will provide an in-home assessment and individualied exercise program.  He/She will be tought exercises to help impove their muscle strength and to help keep them mobile and active in order to improve their quality of life.
• Groceries and Meal Preparation:  Grocery shopping, Meal preparation & Feeding, Help Implementing Prescribed Diets, Social Transportation
• Social Transportation:  Church services, Funeral, Banking, Visits to relatives/friends, Community centres, Shopping, Doctor/Dentist appointments
• Disability Care: Provide Physical or Development Disabilities with personal care and physical and emotional security to allow them to function independently in their home.
• Respite Care: To provide short-term relief to your primary caregiver.
• Foot Care: Cutting and Filing Nails, Treatmentst of infection general foot health.
• Alzheimer Care/Parkinson Care: Help to ease the burden of responsibility and improve the quality of life for the client and family.
• Post-Surgical Care:  To assist individuals with personal care needs, housekeeping duties, and rehab.
• Palliatitive Care:  Qualified nursing staff and compassionate care aides work together to provide comprehensive service.
